The use of non-compliant aluminium cladding has come at a cost to the developer of the Iglu building in Brisbane after the Council has flagged the student accommodation as being not safe for habitation.
The 23-storey Iglu Brisbane student accommodation building on Mary Street had been due to open this month, but issues with the building materials used meant it was unable to be approved.
